The Pink Dragon

Well, I had posted on my Facebook page a line art of a dragon I didn't want to color. Some amazing artists colored the line art I had posted and did such an amazing job, I was waiting to find time to paint it myself as well. Recorded the process. I hope you find it informative.

Tiger Tail

I'm thinking of submitting this as an iPhone cover. I've been thinking what designs to submit. Might go for a fan-art next. Let's see how that is received.

I think the dragon is going to have some fun with the little guy. Or will the little guy manage to slay the dragon?

My friend told me that one of our friends was involved in an accident and he wanted to make a nice get well soon card for her. She had cosplayed as the Sorceress of Grey Skull (He-man, 2002) and he asked me to make that.

Yes, I have been painting...

I've been super busy with work and wasn't getting much time to spend on drawing. I have been sketching more on my sketchbook and will share my doodles soon. In the meantime, here are 2 speedpaints I did today.

So, they leaked the Godzilla teaser and whoa it's mindblowing. Can't wait to see a proper trailer. I hope they release it soon. Pacific Rim sort of made me go (more)crazy about super-sized monsters. After watching the teaser, I quickly painted this:

And here's a werewolf chasing something. Loose sketch and strokes.

Them Medusas

Trying to improve sketching with the traditional medium. Two very sexy versions of the Medusas. Done with Sakura .03, .05 and the Brush pen with a dash of white pens here and there.

I need to get some better markers. My black Letraset marker died and these things cost a lot.  

Red, white and Black

Pinups are always fun to draw. I had seen a similar pose in one of Artgerm's drawings of Poison Ivy and I had to make a similar one. 

Also. My Letraset black marker is almost finished and I need to get a new one soon. I love the 3 nibs in one. 

Anime Maid

Had to make a banner with one of the Japanese Maids. Would love to visit a maid cafe sometime. Heck, would love to visit Japan sometime. 

Colors of the Tiger

A very old illustration I had done for the tigers. The cub wants to have a colorful future but with so much illegal hunting and killing of tigers going on, will they even have a future? 

Lord Snow

My version of Jon Snow and his direwolf Ghost, from the book and tv series A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones). Done using copic markers.

The thresher shark

I always find it fun to stylize animals. I've never really given fish a chance and thought sharks are the best when it comes to giving them a characteristic look. This shark was one of the 3 I made a few months back.
Why do sketches always have so much energy in them? 

Puppies

They get distracted so easily!
I've been seeing a lot of fan-art of kid Korra and puppy Naga and couldn't help making this art. I've kept my friends' dogs often at my place and I remember just how difficult it is to train a puppy. Pretty sure Korra would have faced several problems with her pup.
Their eyes just melt your heart and you can NOT scold them.

A friend commissioned me to draw a picture of his fiance, himself and their dogs. 

Dragon Hop: Art

Background made for the game Dragon Hop while I was working at mPowered. This was a submission for the Square Enix Game Development competition (2012). It's mostly about a dragon named Zaxel who runs around in Candy Land collecting coins and dodging bad, mean candy. 

A concept of Zaxel. Any guesses for which one was used? 

Harley Quinn

I bought a few promarkers and sketchbooks from the 3rd Comic Con Delhi a few days back. High on the Comic Con fever, I sketched Harley Quinn.
How many of you attended the Comic Con this time? What do you think about it?

It's fun to draw Pokemon. I've always admired their designs.

A little something for Christmas

Well, a little sketch I made for Christmas. I will be sending out the greeting card via email to all my acquaintances by tomorrow.

Good dragon

Trying out some dragons because I am totally bad at drawing them. After going through some artists who are awesome, I came up with this guy. Should've taken me around an hour to do this. Maybe two.

Although I wish I had made the lower jaw a bit longer. So, just imagine it is longer okay? 

Card stuff

So a person got in touch with me and asked me to create a couple of sample illustrations that would be used in a card game that's the latest craze in Japan. These were what I made but he never got back to me. I guess, I can put these up. I had a fun time doing these weird, wacky characters.
