Background made for the game Dragon Hop while I was working at mPowered. This was a submission for the Square Enix Game Development competition (2012). It's mostly about a dragon named Zaxel who runs around in Candy Land collecting coins and dodging bad, mean candy.

Carmella: Backgrounds
These backgrounds were made for Carmella: The Flying Squirrel, a game for the iOS and Android that my company developed. Android users can download the game from here .
This background was made for Level 3 and 4 in which Carmella's forest is in danger.
This background was made for Level 5 and 6 where Carmella comes across a farm.

And some more BGs
Sorry about my absence. Cousins at home, deadlines looming, Red Dead Redemption are all eating away my time.
I had made this practice quite a while back. I like how the mountains came out. Still sticking to simple stuff and Im still not very confident with backgrounds. My friend gave a good advice. He said I should stick to the Hard Round brush of Photoshop and play around with its opacity and flow instead of using soft brushes which I was doing in some of my previous background practices. I do like the difference.
Would love to hear tips about how I should go about making backgrounds from you guys!

What's for Deserts
I really need to start working on creating better backgrounds. I have been practicing but I have a long way to go it seems...
Been practicing desert landscapes as they offer a pretty good subject. This picture was made without using any references.
Critiques and Comments needed.

Where Eagles Dare
Hello friends! I've been gone a long time. Things have been very hectic at office and I had been attending some events happening in my city. Oh, and gaming. Fine, mostly gaming. Anyway, here is a background painting I did some time back because I am horrible at making backgrounds and need to practice. No reference was used for this. I had planned on making a dragon or a gryphon, but I settled for a small eagle in the distance. Hope you like it!
